Photo Friday #34

This summer I got to visit my sister while she was doing clinicals in Hawaii. Because she was working, I spent a lot of time by myself able to explore the beautiful island. This picture was taken on a hike I took one morning. It's always moments of awe in solitude like this where I find myself expressing gratitude, truly reflecting and being completely mindful of my surroundings, something I'm still learning how to do in the chaos of regular daily life.
