Photo Friday #50
This is a giant clothespin statue in Philadelphia. It is a unique art installation choice that I was thrilled to discover was close to my hotel. There was no reason for my happiness about this statue, just that I knew I needed to go see it before I flew back home. I think that is what made it so exciting — not having a reason for my enthusiasm. I didn’t know what the artistic or symbolic significance of the installation was until I looked it up much later, but I didn’t need to know in order to enjoy it. It reminds me to find the joy in the little, and sometimes very random, things that we happen upon each and every day!
