Photo Friday #48

I took this photo at almost 6:00am towards the end of a long overnight shift at my summer job. After working all night, I was sleepy and ready to leave as soon as possible. When I noticed the beautiful sunrise, I couldn’t help but put down the forms I was filing and go outside. After enjoying the view for a few minutes, I realized that if I hadn’t been stuck with the overnight shift, I wouldn’t have witnessed the naturally stunning sight. Every time I see this photo, it reminds me that while any feelings of being tired and overwhelmed are perfectly valid, I need to remember to look for something beautiful. Sometimes it will even be right in front of me; I just have to open my eyes.
