Photo Friday #14
This summer, I took a trip to Bar Harbor, Maine to hike in Acadia National Park. While hiking, I couldn't be texting or using my phone- it was just time for me to be with nature and with my friends. It was nice to leave the busy life for a bit, to focus on the simple task of getting up and coming back down. It also felt good to move my body. The rush of endorphins at the top of the mountain and when climbing over a particularly large rock. At school, when I want to take some stress off, I try to take myself back to that place; that place where all I have to do is worry about getting to where I need to go. When I work out, I can clear my mind in a similar way, and return to a place of calm afterward.
